What is Exhibition A?

Exhibition A sells exclusive limited editions of artwork by top contemporary artists at prices you can afford. We partner with artists whose work is exhibited at well-respected galleries and sought after by serious collectors to launch at least one new edition per week.



What is a limited edition?

An edition is a limited series of a particular print or object. Limited editions are fixed in quantity, meaning we will only produce a certain number.

What is a print?

A print is a work of art that exists in multiple examples. It is not created by drawing or painting directly onto a substrate, but rather through an indirect process.

Are the artists involved in production?

We work directly with our artists to create high quality images that accurately represent their work. The artist reviews and approves their edition.

What is a stretched canvas print?

A stretched canvas print is a print on canvas that has been stretched over a frame. Stretched canvas prints are ready to hang. They do not require any additional framing or matting. If a canvas print is not stretched, it will need to be stretched before it can be hung or framed.

How do I know that my Exhibition A edition is authentic?

Each edition comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist or a founding member of Exhibition A. Some editions are also signed, marked, or numbered on the edition itself. Check each item product page for specifics. Certain items for sale on Exhibition A that we did not produce (i.e. Warhol Art Cash or rare art books) do not come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Do editions ever sell out?

Yes. Limited editions do sell out since there are a predefined number of editions available. Make sure you are on our mailing list to be the first to know about our new editions.

If I buy an edition, do I own the copyright?

No. The copyright is not transferred to the purchaser of the edition.



When will my order ship?

Production time varies by print and depending on your order. (For example, a framed print will take longer to produce than an unframed print.) Please see the “Print Info” section on any product page to determine the estimated fulfillment time. You will receive a tracking number with your shipment confirmation email from a team member that will allow you to check on the delivery status of your order. Please note that our offices are open Monday through Friday and orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday.

How much does shipping cost?

You may elect to ship your package either by UPS Ground (2-7 days depending on location), UPS 3-Day Select, or UPS Next Day Air. International shipments are sent via USPS. The cost will depend on shipping method, the size and weight of your purchase, as well as the shipping destination. All shipping costs can be estimated during the checkout process and before confirming your order.

My order is still marked as “unshipped.” What’s the deal?

Email to check the status of your order. Include the name you used to place the order and the order number in your message.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship internationally via the US PostalService. International orders may be subject to customs duties, which are set by the government of the destination country. These fees will be due upon arrival and are in addition to the cost of artwork and shipping and handling. We can’t discount customs duties or reimburse you for these costs.

How do you declare goods for international orders?

We declare all shipments as artwork at the price of the work being shipped. As a business, we have to be honest on customs forms. We cannot mark your shipment as a gift.



What is your return policy?

Our general policy is that we are unable to accept returns, refunds, or exchanges. We handle returns on a case-by-case basis. If there is a problem with your shipment, send us an email at

What if a print gets damaged during shipping or has a printing flaw?

If your print arrives damaged, please contact us at All claims on damaged prints must be made with 48 hours of receiving the package. Please keep in mind that prints may not be replaceable as all of our prints are limited release. We will do our best to accommodate the issue.



How do I redeem my gift certificate?

You can receive your gift certificate by typing in the gift certificate code at checkout and clicking apply on the “Payment Method” page.

How does the Invite a Friend feature work?

You can invite friends to join Exhibition A by clicking here or by clicking on the “Invite Friends” link on the top navigation. You will receive a $20 referral credit for each friend that purchases an item (excludes gift card purchases).

When do my referral credits show up in my account?

Your referral credit will appear in your account within 48 hours after your friend’s purchase ships.

How do I redeem my referral credits?

Referral credits will be automatically redeemed the next time you make a purchase on your account. Referral credits are non-transferable and expire 18 months after the date that they are issued.
