Joshua Abelow (b. 1976, Frederick, Maryland) graduated with a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 1998 and an MFA in painting from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2008. He has held solo exhibitions at James Fuentes (New York), Arts & Leisure (New York), Wasserman Projects (Birmingham, MI), Brand New Gallery (Milan), and Sorry We’re Closed (Brussels). In 2015, Abelow exhibited alongside Bjorn Copeland at Cooper Cole (Toronto). Additional group shows include those at David Peterson Gallery (Minneapolis, MN), Zach Feuer Gallery in (New York), 247365 (Brooklyn), UNTITLED (New York), and the Prague Biennale. The artist lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
