Paige Powell's solo exhibition, The Ride, which was on view at the Portland Art Museum last year, featured wallpaper made from Powell's signature insider photographs of 1980's New York. Andy's Cubby, one of the images featured, offers a glimpse at Warhol's work space in his 1982 studio, which was located at 860 Broadway in Manhattan's Flat Iron District. His desk, strewn with brushes, jotted notes, and a paint covered telephone, reveals a behind the scenes look at Warhol's process, which led to the creation of some of the most iconic works of American art to date.
Framing option is black or white painted wood, 7/8” wide flat face and 7/8” deep, with UV acrylic glass.
