ABOUT THE WORK  
Misha Kahn is known for his uncanny ability to create objects that are at once familiar and otherworldly. "Misha creates work for a parallel wonderland, where traditional perception of material and structure is pushed to the edges of the room to make space for one big party,” says designer John Maeda, who has collaborated with Kahn. In Royal Jelly, Kahn transforms an ordinary object - a lamp - into a playful and imaginative figure. This edition consists of 3 colors, each an edition of 25.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY 
Misha Khan has held solo exhibitions Misha Kahn: Soft Bodies, Hard Spaces Friedman Benda (New York, NY), Misha Kahn: Blooming into Reality, The Page Gallery (Seoul, Korea) For Mario, Tina Kim Gallery, (New York, NY) and Misha Kahn: Just Around the Bend at M + B, (Los Angeles, CA). Khan graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 2011, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Furniture Design. He was a Fulbright Fellow with Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Tel Aviv. Kahn currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
