Andrew Zuckerman's first job was photographing marijuana for High Times Magazine; the plant is revisited here. Cannabis sativa was shot at Oaksterdam, a pot-growing school in California run by a leader of the Cannabis reform movement (the school was raided by federal officials only a few weeks following Zuckerman's photoshoot). Included in Zuckerman's 2012 book Flower, the photograph is subtly inserted among beautiful yet benign exotic flowers — offering the suggestion that cannabis may not be so different from a rose or an orchid.

Our White and Black frames have a ⅞” wide flat face and are 15/16” deep. Our Walnut frames has a ¾” wide flat face and is 1 ⅛” deep. Mats are 2” wide.
