Peter Burns explores the relationships between humanity, nature, and the universe through the lens of the sublime. His compositions juxtapose impish characters with surreal landscapes, calling to mind the awesome scenes fundamental to Romanticists. Artforum has described his paintings as having, "a hint of Hieronymus Bosch in their juxtapositions of brightly colored Edenic spaces with fantastical beasts."

Our White and Black frames have a ⅞” wide flat face and are 15/16” deep. Our Walnut frames has a ¾” wide flat face and is 1 ⅛” deep. Mats are 2” wide.
