Hayes is a master of the digital era, juxtaposing iconic art-historical imagery with her sometimes nostalgic, and oftentimes ironic, approach to contemporary digital and popular culture. In her Poké Paintings, Hayes’ blends her signature references to art-historical traditions in conjunction with the iconic early 00s cartoon characters that have been reinvigorated into the collective consciousness due to the launch of the hysterically popular virtual reality mobile app “Pokémon Go.” Catch ‘em all now on Exhibition A.

Our White and Black frames have a ⅞” wide flat face and are 15/16” deep. Our Walnut frames has a ¾” wide flat face and is 1 ⅛” deep. Mats are 2” wide.
