Beauty and life spring forth from the debris; a bouquet of fresh flowers is delicately contained by a crushed beer can, which ironically features its own distorted image of an idyllic landscape. This print benefited RxArt and 100% of the artist's proceeds were directed to the Middle Eastern Children's Alliance (MECA). MECA is a non-profit organization working for the rights of children in the Middle East by sending humanitarian aid, supporting projects for children, and educating communities in North America and internationally about the effects of the US foreign policy on children in the region. MECA installs units for clean drinking water in Gaza schools, supports community arts programs, provides counseling and medical aid, and helps build playgrounds in Palestinian neighborhoods and refugee camps.
Framing options are black or white painted wood, 3/4" wide flat face and 1" deep, with UV acrylic glass.
