Katherine Bradford has mounted solo exhibitions at The Modern Art Musuem of Fort Worth (Fort Worth, TX), Galleria Monica De Cardenas (Milan, IT), Sperone Westwater (New York, NY), CANADA (New York, NY), Adams and Ollman (Portland, OR), and the Bowdoin College Museum of Art (Brunswick, ME), among others. Selected group shows include CANADA (New York, NY), Brand New Gallery (Milan, IT), Venus Over LA (Los Angeles, CA), The Journal Gallery (Brooklyn, NY), and Harper's Books (East Hampton, NY. Bradford has been mentioned in The New York Times, Art in America, Modern Painters, ARTNews,Artforum, The Washington Post, and Chicago Tribune. Her work is included in public collections such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Brooklyn Museum, Portland Museum, Worcester Museum of Art, Smith College Museum, Farnsworth Museum, Bates College Museum, Addison Gallery of American Art, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and Worcester Museum of Art.Bradford has received the Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant, Guggenheim Fellowship, Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant, and American Academy of Arts and Letters Award. She received her BFA from Bryn Mawr College, her MFA from SUNY Purchase, and has held teaching positions at Yale School of Art, Skowhegan School, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and Fashion Institute of Technology.
