Joani Tremblay
We are pleased to have collaborated with Joani Tremblay to create her first ever print editions: Untitled (dawn mountains iterations with peaches) (2022) and Untitled (dawn mountains iterations with lemons) (2022). The collaboration includes two archival pigment print editions of 15. In addition, Tremblay has created two hand-finished print series that were embellished with acrylic in her studio.
Joani Tremblay (b. 1984, Montreal, Canada) has held solo exhibitions at Harper’s (New York, East Hampton), The Pit LA, Projet Pangée (Montreal), Kantor Gallery (Beverly Hills), Pony Sugar (Stockholm), and 3331 Arts Chiyoda (Tokyo), among others. Select group exhibitions include presentations at Anat Ebgi (Los Angeles), Marie-Laure Fleisch Gallery (Brussels), Interstate Projects (Brooklyn), and Zalucky Contemporary (Toronto). Tremblay has received many international awards, with most recently the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation and the Canada Council for the Arts. Her work has been acquired by numerous public collections, including the Montréal Municipal Art Collection ( Montréal), RBC Corporate Collection (Toronto), Tricon Capital Group (Toronto), and the Mint Museum (Charlotte, NC). Tremblay earned an MFA from Concordia University in 2017 and lives and works in Montréal, QC.
