About the Work
We’re honored to announce our third collaboration with painter Amy Lincoln. Known for her engrossing colorful naturescapes that hover somewhere between figuration and abstraction, Lincoln’s body of work creates joyful containment for the potentially chaotic and uncontrollable. Transforming the diffraction of weather systems, starry nights, and planetary orbits into saturated geometric gradients, Lincoln’s paintings create idyllic insight into environmental atmospheres, emphasizing the connective tissue that bonds and separates sky and sea.
Our new collaboration, Daylight Stars & Clouds, illustrates Lincoln's deft understanding of color and keen technical ability. Based on a painting wherein Lincoln set out to explore a soft palette of blue and yellow without the blended result turning overly green, Daylight Stars & Clouds features a stack of luminous puffy clouds floating above pastel waves and surrounded by twinkling orbs, emitting her characteristic otherworldly glow.
Describing her intensive process to create the collaboration, Lincoln says, “We converted the original painting into a digital format by outlining individual forms and gradations, then used Photoshop to create transparent layers of color. This process allowed me to change the color of the original palette, creating a new and distinct image. I worked extensively alongside the silkscreen studio, exploring their array of inks to discover and mimic the subtle color gradations that are so important to my work. I’m really happy with the end result — a new artwork that exists only as the edition.”
Artist Biography
Amy Lincoln (b. 1981, Bloomington, IN) has held solo exhibitions at Sperone Westwater (New York), Taymour Grahne Projects (London), Morgan Lehman Gallery (New York), Monya Rowe Gallery (St. Augustine, FL), and Wave Hill (Bronx), among others. Select group exhibitions include presentations at The Hole (Los Angeles), Asia Arts Center (Taipei), Stems Gallery (Paris), Galerie Valerie Bach (Brussels), and CULT Aimee Friberg Exhibitions (San Francisco), among others. Lincoln received a Master of Fine Art from Temple University, Tyler School of Art (Elkins Park, PA) in 2006. She lives and works in New York.

Framing
Introducing our sleek solid maple hardwood frame. Available in black or white maple, as well as lacquered natural maple.
Prints are hinged to a conservation quality, acid-free, lignin-free Cellulose matboard using acid-free polyethylene cloth tape. The fade and bleed-resistant mat’s surface paper is attached to a conversation quality foam-core board.
For glazing, we utilize museum-quality .060 mm plexiglass that blocks 82-85% of UV rays, shielding your art from light exposure and ensuring long-lasting vibrancy.
Frame dimensions include a 5/8" wide flat face and 1 1/4" depth. It is framed with a matted presentation and a 1 3/4" border.
Shippings & Returns
Unframed work ships within 5 business days of your order. Framed artwork is custom framed once it is ordered. Please allow 2-4 weeks for framing and delivery. Need it faster? Expedited options may be available by emailing service@exhibitiona.com. All work ships from the US. International customers are responsible for any customs, duty, or VAT charges.
If you change your mind after placing your order, please email us at service@exhibitiona.com within 24 hours. We will not be able to accommodate cancellations for framed orders after that time period (as your frame will have been ordered and cut within that time period). We may not be able to accommodate your request to cancel your order for an unframed work after 24 hours if it has been packaged and processed by our fulfillment center.
We are unable to accept returns on custom framed artwork. Our general policy is that we do not accept returns. If your print arrives damaged or does not meet your expectations, you may be eligible for a replacement or return. Any issues must be reported within 5 business days of receipt by emailing service@exhibitiona.com.
