
Aubrey Levinthal (b. 1986, Philadelphia, PA) received an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA) in Philadelphia, PA in 2011, and a BA from The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA in 2008. She is a three-time recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant. In 2017, Levinthal was awarded a residency at Ballinglen Arts Foundation, North County Mayo, Republic of Ireland. Recent exhibitions include Vacancy at Monya Rowe Gallery, New York, NY (2020), and Fête Galante at Heaven Gallery, curated by Gwendolyn Zabicki in Chicago, IL (2020), with an upcoming solo online exhibition with Taymour Grahne Projects in London, U.K. (2021), a two-person show with Emily Pettigrew at Monya Rowe Gallery, New York, NY (2021), and a group exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), Boston in 2022.
