About the Work

Photography is a ubiquitous form of communication, creating our digital lives and decorating our analog existence. Andy Wauman's SKY MARKER I edition contemplates how far this dialogue extends — what is coded within and beyond our perspective. The forward-facing lens mirrors our forward-facing purpose, that which motivates and compels. Paras stone is a legendary elusive substance, symbolizing transcendence and the unknown. SKY MARKER I evokes a secret whisper, pointing to what is within rather than without. Capture the prismatic reflection of passing moments with this special new sculpture edition.
