Elise Ferguson has mounted solo exhibitions at Romer Young (San Francisco) and 106 Green (Brooklyn), as well as a collaboration with Comme des Garçons. She exhibited new work with Halsey McKay in a solo booth at NADA NY this spring and has mounted solo exhibitions at Halsey McKay Gallery (New York), Romer Young Gallery (San Francisco), Envoy Gallery (New York), Livingroom D Lyx (Malmo, Sweden), and White Columns (New York). She has also been included in group exhibitions with Luring Augustine (New York), Regina Rex (New York), Eric Firestone Gallery (East Hampton), Andrew Kreps (New York), Klaus von Nichtssagend (New York), Team Gallery (New York), and Sculpture Center (New York) among others. She has been featured in The New York Times, Artforum, The Wall Street Journal,Chicago Tribune and New York Magazine. Born in 1964 (Richmond, Virginia), she received her BFA from The School of the Art Institute Chicago, and her MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Elise Ferguson currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
