Ellen Lesperance
Ellen Lesperance's work has been exhibited widely most recently at the Drawing Center (New York), Seattle Art Museum, Ashland Art Museum (Oregon), Portland Institute of Contemporary Art, the Dahl Arts Center (Rapid City, SD), Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (Winston-Salem, NC), Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and the Cantor Fitzgerald Gallery (Haverford, PA). She's included in public collections such as the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, the Brooklyn Museum; the Museum of Art and Design, the Portland Art Museum, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Kadist Art Foundation. The artist has received grants and awards from the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, Art Matters, Pollock-Krasner Foundation and the Ford Family Foundation. Ellen Lesperance was born in 1971 (Minneapolis, Minnesota) and currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
