Artist Biography
Bianca Fields, born in 1995 in Cleveland, Ohio, is a dynamic artist currently based in Boston, MA. She graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art College in 2019 and quickly gained recognition for her vibrant and expressive paintings. Often in her work, Fields highly renders a candid mix of her vigilant portrayed primates, utilizing her feminized beasts as formidable stand ins for her imagined self. Painting wet-in-wet directly into the mouth of her subjects, she creates allegories of ritual and beauty under the beholding of the misogynoir, seeking to investigate the vicious cycle of emotional truths, abstract sense of self and violence. Fields has showcased her work at major art fairs and galleries internationally, including the Armory Show in New York, Frieze London, and Untitled Art Fair in Miami, among others. She has mounted group and solo exhibitions with Steve Turner in Los Angeles; L21 Gallery in Spain; Carl Freedman Gallery in London; and Ruttkowski;68 in Paris to name a few. Bianca Fields' works are celebrated for their intense, emotionally charged imagery and have been critically acclaimed for their profound exploration of cultural identity and the human condition. We are unable to accept returns on custom framed artwork. Our general policy is that we do not accept returns. If your print arrives damaged or does not meet your expectations, you may be eligible for a replacement or return.
