Painted in a garden in the summertime in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany in northwestern France, Lancieux is bound from one large watercolor which the viewer can experience by flipping through the book’s sixteen pages. Jean-Baptiste Bernadet created these hand-made books in the same vein of his impressionistic abstract paintings. Each book is unique, signed and packaged in a custom slipcase.
