Hayal Pozanti
ONE HUNDRED (billions of neurons in the brain and stars in the Milky Way) (2016) is our first collaboration with Hayal Pozanti. We collaborated again in 2017 to release 408 (thousands of hectares of land donated to the Chilean government by Patagonia for national parks to be created), another print edition of 50.
Hayal Pozanti has a forthcoming 2023 solo exhibition at Timothy Taylor (New York). Previous solo exhibitions have been held at Jessica Silverman Gallery (San Francisco), the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Rachel Uffner Gallery (New York), and Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects, among others. Select group exhibitions include presentations at San José Museum of Art, Tamarind Institute (Albuquerque), Morán Morán (Los Angeles), Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Kitchen (New York), and MCA Santa Barbara. Pozanti has been awarded large-scale public projects and commissions by the New York Public Library, Public Art Fund (New York) and Cleveland Clinic and Case Western. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Broad Art Museum (East Lansing), JP Morgan Chase Art Collection, LACMA (Los Angeles), New York Presbyterian Hospital, San José Museum of Art, and UCLA Grunwald Center for the Graphic Arts, Hammer Museum (Los Angeles). Pozanti has a BA from Sabanci University and an MFA from Yale University. She lives and works in Manchester, VT.
