FigurA (2016) is our first collaboration with Jan-Ole Schiemann.

Jan-Ole Schiemann (b. 1983, Kiel, Germany) has held solo exhibitions at Kasmin (New York), Neue Galerie (Gladbeck, Germany), Wentrup (Berlin), Nino Mier Gallery (Marfa, Cologne, Los Angeles), Almine Rech (Brussels), and Half Gallery (New York), among others. Select group exhibitions include presentations at The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse (Miami), Choi & Choi Gallery (Seoul), Museum of Contemporary Art (Antwerp), Almine Rech (London, New York), and <i>Abstract/Not Abstract</i> curated by Jeffrey Deitch and Larry Gagosian at the Moore Building (Miami).
Schiemann is a graduate of the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under Albert Oehlen and Andreas Schulze (2007-2013). The artist lives and works in Cologne, Germany.
