Joe Andoe
Joe Andoe has held solo exhibitions at Fortnight Gallery (New York), Blum Helmun Gallery (New York), Feigen Contemporary (New York), Earl McGrath Gallery (Los Angeles), Ford Project (New York), Nathalie Karg Gallery (New York), Yodo Gallery (Osaka), Gallery Busche (Cologne), Milliventi Sperone (Turin) and Gallery Daniel Templon (Paris). Andoe's work is in public collections at The Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), Museum of Modern Art (New York), Museum of Fine Art (Boston), Whitney Museum of American Art (New York), San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art, The Detroit Museum of Art, The National Gallery of Art (Washington DC) and San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art. Born in 1955 (Tulsa, Oklahoma), Andoe received his MFA from University of Oklahoma in 1981. His memoir, Jubilee City, was published in 2008. He lives and works in New York City.
