Katherine Bradford
We are honored to have collaborated with Katherine Bradford on multiple occasions following the first release of our print edition, Couples Swim (2016). Collaborations include Couple Yellow Beach (2018), hand-finished series of 15; Swim Team Outerspace (2020), signed print edition of 125; Seaside, 1 Woman, 2 Men (2020), hand-finished series of 30; Swimmers in Fog (2021), signed print edition of 125; and New Diver (2021), hand-finished series of 30.
Katherine Bradford (b. 1942, New York, NY) has mounted solo exhibitions at the Portland Museum of Art (Portland, ME), Matthew Brown (Los Angeles), Kaufman Repetto (Milan), Campoli Presti (Paris, London), The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Galleria Monica De Cardenas (Milan), Sperone Westwater (New York), CANADA (New York), Adams and Ollman (Portland, OR), and the Bowdoin College Museum of Art (Brunswick, ME), among others, as well as a two-person exhibition alongside Diedrick Brackins at the Carpenter Center for Visual Art at Harvard University (Cambridge, MA). Select group exhibitions include presentations at Anton Kern Gallery (New York), Consortium Museum (Dijon), Venus Over Manhattan (New York), Almine Rech (London), Pace Gallery (New York), Brand New Gallery (Milan), Venus Over LA (Los Angeles), and Harper's Books (East Hampton, NY). Her work is included in public collections at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), Brooklyn Museum (Brooklyn, NY), and Portland Museum (Portland, ME) among many others. Bradford has received the Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant, Guggenheim Fellowship, Pollock Krasner Foundation Grant, and American Academy of Arts and Letters Award. She lives and works in New York City.
