Kim McCarty

Kim McCarty’s ephemeral watercolor works are painted with a “wet on wet” technique, lending not only an unpredictability and immediacy to her subjects, but also a sense of longing and loss. A graduate of UCLA and the Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, McCarty has had solo exhibitions at Maloney Fine Art (Culver City CA) and Morgan Lehman Gallery (New York). She has been included in group exhibitions at LA MOCA, Griffin Fine Art (London), David Klein Gallery (New York), Santa Monica Museum of Art, and Galerie Sho (Tokyo). McCarty lives between Los Angeles and New York City.
