Marina Adams
Marina Adams has mounted solo exhibitions at Salon 94 (New York), Galerie Gris (Hudson, NY), Hionas Gallery (New York), CUE Art Foundation (New York), and Magazzino d'Arte Moderna (Rome), Marc Jancou at Giovanella Kunstglaserei (Gstaad, Switzerland), as well as a solo booth with Karma Gallery and Books at Independent NY 2016, which was concurrent with their publication of her newest book, titled Portrait and a Dream. Selected group exhibitions include A Space for Thought at Brand New Gallery (Milan), Artemisia at Albert Baronian Gallery (Brussels), Vanishing Points curated by Andrianna Campbell at James Cohan Gallery (New York), Aspects of Abstraction at Lisson Gallery (New York), Quicktime at the University of the Arts (Philadelphia), Say Yes at Wayne State University (Detroit), Making & Unmaking: An exhibition curated by Duro Olowu at the Camden Arts Centre (London) and Boys & Girls Can Still Draw at Nathalie Karg Gallery (New York). She earned degrees from Tyler School of Art, Temple University and Columbia University’s School of the Arts and was the 2016 recipient of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship. Adams lives and works between New York City and Parma, Italy.
