Melissa Joseph

Our 2022 collaboration with Melissa Joseph features two hand-finished series of 8, created in the artist's preferred medium of felt, titled Love Marriage and A Pair of Sisters.

Melissa Joseph has held solo exhibitions at REGULARNORMAL (New York) and Fleisher Art Memorial (Philadelphia), as well as a two-person exhibition at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts Museum. Select group exhibitions include presentations at MOCA Arlington (Virginia), UMOCA (Salt Lake City), Turn Gallery (New York), Swivel Gallery (Brooklyn), 2021 Independent Art Fair with REGULARNORMAL, South Asia Institute Chicago, Textile Arts Center (Brooklyn), and Shaker Museum (Mt. Lebanon, NY), among many others. She has participated in residencies at the Center // Substructured Loss (Berlin), the Growlery (San Francisco), Chautauqua Visual Arts (New York), BRIC (New York), Fountainhead Arts (Miami), the Dieu Donné Workspace Residency (New York) and the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts Studio Program (New York). Joseph currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
