Ross Simonini (born 1982, San Francisco, CA) is an artist living in New York and California. In 2016, a selection of Simonini's "Anxiety Napkins" were included in FOMO, a group show at Black & White Gallery in Brooklyn; his cutting boards in a group show at Andrew Edlin Gallery; and work from his "Quartering Myself" series was shown at One River School. His artwork has previously been shown at Martos Gallery, Fredericks and Freiser, 247365, Denny Gallery, Blackston, Human Resources and abroad with Shoot the Lobster (Luxembourg) and Anonymous Gallery (Mexico City). With his band NewVillager, he has performed at Jack Hanley Gallery, Brooklyn museum, the Andy Warhol Museum, MOCA, Performa, and Queens Museum. His interviews and writings on art appear in The New York Times, Frieze, The Organist, and The Believer, where he is an editor.
