The Bruce High Quality Foundation

The Bruce High Quality Foundation, the official arbiter of the estate of Bruce High Quality, is dedicated to the preservation of the legacy of the late social sculptor, Bruce High Quality. The Foundation also heads the free institution BHQFU, which provides learning opportunities and residencies for artists. From 2008 to 2014, BHQF hosted expansive, open call exhibitions called “Brucennials,” built in the spirit of collaboration and community rather than curation and exclusivity. Their solo exhibition, “Vive la Sociale!” was mounted at Almine Rech Gallery (Brussels) in 2014; other recent exhibitions have taken place at the Brooklyn Museum, the Lever House, Susan Inglett Gallery (New York), Contemporary Fine Arts (Berlin), and Galerie Bruno Bischofberger (Zürich). The BHQF was featured in the 2010 Whitney Biennial (New York), as well as additional group exhibitions at MoMA PS1 (Queens), Acquavella Gallery (New York), and Centre Pompidou (Paris).
