Timothy Hull
Timothy Hull (b. 1979) will present his second solo show at Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery in New York City this January and his first solo show at Ashes/Ashes in Los Angeles in spring 2016. Selected solo exhibitions include Fitzroy Gallery (New York City), Freight + Volume (New York City), Taylor De Cordoba (Los Angeles), and Brown Project Space (Milan). Hull's work has appeared in group shows in New York City at Mitchell-Innes + Nash, Invisible-Exports, Bureau, The Hole, and internationally at Tate Modern (London), La Dictateur Gallery (Milan), NOMAS Foundation (Rome), CoCo (Vienna), and Goff + Rosenthal (Berlin). His large-scale, outdoor public art sculpture, The Accelerated Ruin, was commissioned and exhibited by the Brooklyn Academy of Music in 2012. Hull’s work has been reviewed and featured in Artforum, New York Times, LA Times, Interview Magazine, Art in America, and V Magazine. Timothy Hull received a BA from New York University and an MFA from Parsons School of Design. Born in New York City, the artist currently lives and works in Brooklyn and Warwick, NY.
