Yirui Jia
In Soft Candy Soft (2022), our first collaboration with Yirui Jia, she hand-finished a series of 20 prints building a multitude of narratives from a singular foundation.
Yirui Jia (b. 1997, China) is represented by Mitchell-Innes & Nash. Jia has held solo exhibitions at Bill Brady Gallery (Los Angeles), JUPITER (Miami Beach), LKIF Gallery (Seoul), and Gateway (Shanghai). Select group exhibitions include presentations at HERE Arts Center (New York), SVA (New York), LATITUDE (New York), Hive Center for Contemporary Art (Beijing), WerkStadt (Berlin), and Tree Art Museum (Beijing), among others. Jia received her MFA from SVA in 2022. She currently lives and works in New York, NY.
