"Internet-as-muse" artist Jeanette Hayes is well-known for her humorous paintings which seamlessly blend contemporary digital life, pop culture, and art history. Come Si Dice: Webcam Girls was included at her 2013 exhibition at Motelsalieri Gallery in Rome, but the image was originally appropriated from the actual background on her iPhone. She says, "I always have really nice screensavers because I have to look at it all the time. You use your phone, you adore your phone, it's like your little god. You might as well put little iconographic imagery to adore on there." Hayes was featured in the "Hearsay" exhibition at the Half Gallery in 2012, alongside artists Jemima Kirke of the HBO show Girls and Jay Miriam. Her graphic design and modeling work for Opening Ceremony, Proenza Schouler, and Alexander Wang has contributed to her massive following.
Framing options are black or white painted wood, 7/8" wide flat face and 7/8" deep, with UV acrylic glass.
