This edition is part of an original series of limited edition silkscreen prints, entitled PRINT AID, created in response to the distress caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. PRINT AID is a collaborative effort between silkscreen studio Pegasus Prints, art consultancy Sidel & McElwreath, and Exhibition A to provide creativity and assistance through the art community. Each edition supports an artist whose business has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, a portion of sales is donated to The Artist’s Fellowship, Inc, a non-profit organization that financially assists professional visual artists and their families in times of emergency, disability or bereavement.

"My paintings fuse figuration and abstraction. I explore ideas of gender, sexuality and power. I think a lot about the representation of females throughout history alongside contemporary references. Through painting I have developed an iconic language and an emblematic representation based on the female form. The X structure of the painting suggests both the form of a woman with her arms outstretched and also the feminine X chromosome. I like to think my paintings create my own symbol of female power and energy. This doesn’t only involve the subject and composition but also the attitude I bring to my paintings." - Natasha Wright

Natasha Wright's solo exhibitions include Sister Grotto at Spring Break Art Show (New York, 2020), When Black Swallows Red at John Davis Gallery (New York), and Angels and Icons at Parlour Projects (New Zealand). Two person shows include It’s Complicated at Spring Break Art Show (Los Angeles, 2020). In 2018 Natasha’s solo show Les Biches was named as one of the five best exhibitions in NYC by Harper’s Bazaar. Past residencies include DNA Residency at Freight and Volume Gallery (New York). Natasha’s work is held in the Wallace Trust collection and private collections internationally.
