ABOUT THE WORK
In his text paintings, Brad Phillips delivers humorous yet haunting vignettes that navigate complex and often melancholic glimpses into the human condition. By exploring nuanced themes like hypocrisy, sex, and addiction with heartbreaking detail and subtle satire, Phillips creates an access point to otherwise uncomfortable truths.
